Something wicked this way comes or, Barry’s Taxman Cometh!!

I’m sure we all remember very well, or we at least we should, the statement made that declared, “No one making under $250,000 will see their taxes go up, not one dime.” Isn’t that precisely what candidate Barry “Almighty” said during his campaign? I could have sworn that’s what I heard him say, over and over and over again. I know, I know, he was just trying to get himself elected, right, so that makes it all ok. Because apparently, if you’re a Democrat and you are trying to get yourself elected, that gives you license to say, or do, pretty much anything you deem as being necessary. The ends always justify the means. A little like the reason that “BJ” Clinton recently stated, about the finally deceased Robert Byrd, in that it was ok for him to be a member of the KKK, because after all, he was just trying to get elected in order to serve the people. Why is it always seen as being acceptable, even honorable, for Democrats to say or do whatever it is that “they need” to do in their effort to achieve an electoral victory? And as far as Barry is concerned, what he said was an outright lie, a lie that he told loudly and that he told often, and that was a lie every time he said it. And he knew it was a lie every time he said it. It was a lie because he “knew” that once elected, he had every intention of raising everyone’s taxes, it’s all that these scumbag Democrats know how to do, well that and spend other people’s money! So now, feigning some sort of faux outrage regarding a financial crisis that he says is the direct result of the last 8 years of George Bush and the mess that he left behind, he says taxes will need to be raised if we are to gain control of our financial situation. But that’s not quite an accurate statement either, and Barry is more than well aware of that little fact too. It’s all a sick façade, because he’s well aware that what has put us in our present and very dangerous downward spiral is the incredible amount of debt that has been amassed and that is directly of “his”, Barry’s, making. He knows full well that the excuse for which he must now claim as being the basis for his raising of taxes on folks making as little $50,000, is to place the blame for it on anybody but himself. But his claims ring hollow because the word is getting out, because these tax hikes, while being claimed to be so needed as a means of bringing down Bush’s deficit, it’s Barry’s massive spending binge that has created the present ballooning deficit. So essentially, we’re all going to be forced into covering the cost of “his” outrageous spending done for no other reason than to move his “progressive” agenda further along. Ya know, I would just love to go bang on my neighbors door and tell him that because of my poor spending habits, this month he’s going need to make my car note for me. What do you suppose he would say, “Well sure, I’ll be glad to help you out, so what if you spent too much money on things that maybe you shouldn’t have. I got ya covered there neighbor.” Nope, I’m afraid not, I know my neighbor, and trust me when I say this, that his response would be not something that can be included here. Suffice it to say, that it would be a very resounding NO WAY Jose!
As far as I’m concerned it should be all those morons who chose to vote for this blatant socialist thug who should be footing the bill, they should be all too happy to pay for all of this supposed namby-pamby “Hope and Change” nonsense. Whoops, that's right, they can’t because the majority of those folks are the very same ones who comprise most of those either on Welfare or are too lazy to go out and get a job. So that leaves the rest of us who are then expected to pick up their tab as they go through life. No doubt that that entire 47 percent of households who no longer pay “any” federal taxes were all very enthusiastic supporters and proud to be Barry voters. Therefore it’s left to the rest of us to be forced into the subsidizing of the booze, strip club and drug habits maintained by those many Barry supporters, plus provide for the kids they continue to pop out that they can’t afford. Kids, by the way, who most likely will turn out to be Democrat supporting wards of the state. Stop this merry-go-round, please, I’m ready to get the f**k off. The sheer insanity of what is going on here provides but one more very clear indication of the critical nature regarding this year’s election. I simply do not think that enough people fully realize by how fine a thread by which we are currently hanging.

Here’s a little of what’s going to be happening come January 1:

Personal income tax rates will rise. The top income tax rate will rise from 35 to 39.6 percent (this is also the rate at which two-thirds of small business profits are taxed). The lowest rate will rise from 10 to 15 percent. All the rates in between will also rise. Itemized deductions and personal exemptions will again phase out, which has the same mathematical effect as higher marginal tax rates. The full list of marginal rate hikes is below:
- The 10% bracket rises to an expanded 15%
- The 25% bracket rises to 28%
- The 28% bracket rises to 31%
- The 33% bracket rises to 36%
- The 35% bracket rises to 39.6%

Higher taxes on marriage and family. The “marriage penalty” (narrower tax brackets for married couples) will return from the first dollar of income. The child tax credit will be cut in half from $1000 to $500 per child. The standard deduction will no longer be doubled for married couples relative to the single level. The dependent care and adoption tax credits will be cut.

The return of the Death Tax. This year, there is no death tax. For those dying on or after January 1 2011, there is a 55 percent top death tax rate on estates over $1 million. A person leaving behind two homes and a retirement account could easily pass along a death tax bill to their loved ones.

Higher tax rates on savers and investors. The capital gains tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 20 percent in 2011. The dividends tax will rise from 15 percent this year to 39.6 percent in 2011. These rates will rise another 3.8 percent in 2013.

And then comes……Obamacare

There are over twenty new or higher taxes in Obamacare. Several will first go into effect on January 1, 2011. They include:

The “Medicine Cabinet Tax” Thanks to Obamacare, Americans will no longer be able to use health savings account (HSA), flexible spending account (FSA), or health reimbursement (HRA) pre-tax dollars to purchase non-prescription, over-the-counter medicines (except insulin).

The “Special Needs Kids Tax” This provision of Obamacare imposes a cap on flexible spending accounts (FSAs) of $2500 (Currently, there is no federal government limit). There is one group of FSA owners for whom this new cap will be particularly cruel and onerous: parents of special needs children. There are thousands of families with special needs children in the United States, and many of them use FSAs to pay for special needs education. Tuition rates at one leading school that teaches special needs children in Washington, D.C. (National Child Research Center) can easily exceed $14,000 per year. Under tax rules, FSA dollars can be used to pay for this type of special needs education.

The HSA Withdrawal Tax Hike. This provision of Obamacare increases the additional tax on non-medical early withdrawals from an HSA from 10 to 20 percent, disadvantaging them relative to IRAs and other tax-advantaged accounts, which remain at 10 percent.

But wait, there’s more……The Alternative Minimum Tax and Employer Tax Hikes

When Americans prepare to file their tax returns in January of 2011, they’ll be in for a nasty surprise—the AMT won’t be held harmless, and many tax relief provisions will have expired. The major items include:

The AMT will ensnare over 28 million families, up from 4 million last year. According to the left-leaning Tax Policy Center, Congress’ failure to index the AMT will lead to an explosion of AMT taxpaying families—rising from 4 million last year to 28.5 million. These families will have to calculate their tax burdens twice, and pay taxes at the higher level. The AMT was created in 1969 to ensnare a handful of taxpayers.

Small business expensing will be slashed and 50% expensing will disappear. Small businesses can normally expense (rather than slowly-deduct, or “depreciate”) equipment purchases up to $250,000. This will be cut all the way down to $25,000. Larger businesses can expense half of their purchases of equipment. In January of 2011, all of it will have to be “depreciated.”

Taxes will be raised on all types of businesses. There are literally scores of tax hikes on business that will take place. The biggest is the loss of the “research and experimentation tax credit,” but there are many, many others. Combining high marginal tax rates with the loss of this tax relief will cost jobs.

Tax Benefits for Education and Teaching Reduced. The deduction for tuition and fees will not be available. Tax credits for education will be limited. Teachers will no longer be able to deduct classroom expenses. Coverdell Education Savings Accounts will be cut. Employer-provided educational assistance is curtailed. The student loan interest deduction will be disallowed for hundreds of thousands of families.

Charitable Contributions from IRAs no longer allowed. Under current law, a retired person with an IRA can contribute up to $100,000 per year directly to a charity from their IRA. This contribution also counts toward an annual “required minimum distribution.” This ability will no longer be there.

So, what do you think there folks, was voting for this corrupt piece of dog squeeze really worth the price that we’re now paying today? Was it worth forfeiting control of your healthcare to Barry, or to have the government now owning car companies, banks and quite possibly very soon even to have Barry in complete control of our entire energy industry. Was it worth it, REALLY? So I guess what I’m asking here is, “How’s all that “Hope and Change” working for you?” Was voting for this guy so worth it to you that we now have to mortgage our kid’s future in an effort to just try cover the costs of his quest for that ever-illusive socialist utopia? Now, again thanks to those who voted for him, we’re in the position of being stuck with this, this “Obamanation” for at least another two years, and trust me when I say, he ain’t anywhere near being through as far as what it is he has in mind regarding the wreaking of as much damage on our country as he can. Look back over the last two years and try to find what remains of our country today that is still recognizable from the one that existed prior to January 20, 2009. If that doesn’t put the fear of God into you and serve as more than just a little motivation for working toward the making of the coming election a referendum on what is being forced upon us, then I don’t suppose anything will. And should we fail in our attempt this November to at least limit the amount of damage he can do, during what hopefully will the last two years of his presidency, then my friends the thin thread by which we are hanging, that I mentioned earlier, will surely snap under the weight of what we have allowed Barry to do. And this is just the tip of the iceberg because remember, there is the possibility of the European style Value Added Tax (VAT) that is till looming out there until at least after the election.
The clock is ticking, those of us who wish to save our country must be resolute in the maintaining of our determination to put a stop to this madness. First we must focus on preventing further damage from being done by ridding ourselves of as many of those in the House and Senate as we can. Then must turn our attention and focus our energy on the turning back of the clock, to the point where we can make it appear as if Barry had never been here. Can we do it? We must!!

Unemployment checks, The fastest way to create jobs...HUH?

"Unemployment benefits are creating jobs faster than practically any other program", so says House Speaker Nancy "Botox" Pelosi. While talking to reporters, our esteemed House speaker was defending a jobless benefits extension against those who make the argument that it provides recipients very little incentive to actually go out in search of work. Using some rather unorthodox reasoning, she makes the claim that those checks are in reality helping to give somebody a job. "It injects demand into the economy," Ms. Pelosi said, arguing that when families have money to spend it keeps the economy churning. Sorry, I guess I hadn't yet realized that our economy was churning, I thought it was doing something that more closely resembles plunging into the abyss. Anyway, she went on to say, "It creates jobs faster than almost any other initiative you can name." Pelosi said the this type of aid has the "double benefit" of helping those who have lost their jobs as well as acting as a "job creator" on the side. "It's impossible to think of a situation where we would have a country that would say we're not going to have unemployment benefits," Pelosi said. I would ask Ms. Pelosi, why not? If unemployment benefits are going to be offered then they should be made available only for a definite period of time. It should be provided for a suitable period of time that affords the person who finds him or herself unemployed a period of time to look for another job. It should be for a period of months, not years. Let’s just call it, providing a little incentive.
Ok, now look, I freely admit that I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but this kind of sheer nonsense advocated by the Speaker just doesn't compute for me, it doesn't make a lick of sense. If there is someone, anyone, out there who can enlighten me regarding the accuracy of the statements made by the Speaker, I would really appreciate it, because this sounds exactly like the same perverted "Progressive" logic that got us into this fiscal jam in the first place. The rationale behind even the making of such an idiotic statement, totally escapes me. It's nothing more than the purest form of Liberal lunacy to throw anything against the wall to see if it sticks. And it shows just how screwed up things have really gotten. Because when the Speaker of the House can stand in front of reporters and a television camera and say something this stupid, and with a straight face no less, or as straight as she can get it, convinced that she's making sense, then my friends, we have a much more serious problem than even I thought. Does it strike anyone other than myself that the reason that our country has gotten so far into the crapper in the first place is because of morons like this who have worked so hard to put us there? And so, it would appear we are but just one flush away with these pathetic pieces sh!t having one hand poised on the handle ready to enthusiastically perform that final flush? And what's really depressing is the fact that a lot of these flaming imbeciles will wind up getting reelected come this Fall because, as a nation, we've managed to morph away from a country with a proud heritage of rugged individualism, personal responsibility and uniqueness into something so far removed as to now make it totally unrecognizable. Many of us simply too stupid to see what it is that we have here and seem far too eager to just throw it all away. You know, you can tell a lot about people by the politicians they repeatedly elect and re-elect. Take Massachusetts for example. How many times did those folks re-elect that drunken slob of a lying pervert Ted Kennedy and how many times has John Kerry Heinz, who spent a fictionalized, and very brief, period of time in Vietnam, been re-elected? And then, of course, there is that "Gay Caballero", Bawney Fwank, on second thought let's not even go there, he's just too repulsive to even talk about. With them having repeatedly elect these lunatics, I think it very safe to say that the combined IQ of those who make up the general population of the "Bay State" would be very close to the largest shoe size that one could find there. And that's just one example, there are many, many more! Just look at any Blue state, they’re all the same. And there seems some evidence of an growing epidemic of sorts that has as its origin Washington D.C., and it is rapidly spreading all across this nation.
The truth of the matter is that our government is only going to be as good as we the people choose to make it. So, in effect, you could say that our economic situation, the poor response to the continuing oil spill in the Gulf, the outright seizure of our healthcare system as well as 2 car companies and a bunch of banks, is pretty much our own fault. After all, the bottom-line here is that we elected these crooks, so we really have no one to blame but ourselves. You could say we screwed up because trusted them, but with us screwing up so badly, that’s kind a lame excuse. Of course, if you happen to be of the opinion that these crooks happen to be doing exactly what you elected them to do, then I guess I would be questioning your sanity. So, for those us who did not elect them to take these sort of actions, the question that remains is, are we willing to accept the error of our ways and to now take the necessary and appropriate action to rectify it. Are we ready to work to remedy the situation this November by booting out as many of these hypocritical a**holes as possible. Or, will we simply revert to our old selves by taking the easy way out by re-electing them and to then spend the next two years bitching about them only to turn right around and re-elect them yet again. At some point the little light bulb will have to come on with us finally coming to the realization that we are never going to achieve a different outcome if we keep repeating the same mistakes. We're going to need to force ourselves to come the conclusion that we simply cannot go on like this because sooner or later we're all going to end up living on the streets watching Barry and the rest of his ilk drive by while they waving to us through the windows of their big, shiny limos. If we want to survive we're going need to raise our standards a bit regarding those who we wish to have representing us, because right now that bar is way, way too low. Even as I say that, I know there remains a segment of our voting population who, when choosing whom to vote for, cares very little about any qualifications their candidate may, or may not, actually possess, witness the election of Barry "Almighty." Their primary concern is one of where it is that the candidate stands on current government entitlement programs. Does he/she plan on pursuing attempts to increase or decrease funding or perhaps require a little work be performed in return for government handouts? This is what these folks see as being their single most critical issue. And to be the recipient of their vote, the candidate must be strongly in favor of both the continuing and the increasing the amount paid by way of these subsidies.
The present fiscal condition of our country and the crushing amount of debt that is rapidly being piled up, is of very little consequence to those who base their vote solely on they're being given some guarantee that their gravy train will continue to go chugging along totally unimpeded. And if the taxes of others will be required to go up to cover the exorbitant cost, well then, so be it. These individuals see it as being not acceptable that the rest of us who subsidize their behavior, courtesy of our taxes, wish to do so for only a finite period of time. Those on the receiving endless welfare payments who continually cast themselves as being victims of society feel that those paying the bills have no right to make those payments contingent upon the beneficiaries working toward the goal of eventually being able to cover their own expenses. Doing so by actually finding a "job" and going to "work." Heavens NO! Look, thanks to their hero "Barry "Almighty" we are BROKE, DEAD BROKE! That these people just do not get that, clearly shows where their priorities are. Tax the rich makes for a nice little mantra, but for crying out loud, rich or not, how much money should someone be required to fork over to the government for no other reason than to continue to subsidize the shiftless and lazy among us. The situation in which these people find themselves is purely self-inflicted. Ultimatums are going to need to be given that no more free rides are going to be given. If you’re unwilling to be contributing member of society, then you’d better have a plan B. Because plan A will no longer consist of the raping of taxpayers to provide anyone with a check that enables to purchase their booze and drugs. Reasonable, rational and constructive reforms along with a realistic tax policy need to be enacted. And we all know that is not something that’s going to happen as long as the Democrats are running the show. We have to work our way back toward the direction that the Founders had intended for us. We have gotten ourselves so far off course and all at the hands of those who wish to move as far as possible away from that original design. If we are going to be serious about getting ourselves back on track our first opportunity will come this November. So, have we finally had enough of the continuing fiscal irresponsibility coming from Congress? While we’re saddled with Barry for at least another two years, we can make a fundamental change in the face of the House and Senate this fall. The question that needs to be answered is……will we?

DISILLUSIONED, DISHEARTENED AND DISAPPOINTED…IN THE AMERICAN PEOPLE

Feeling as I do about the importance of the coming election, I'm somewhat disappointed in the fact that I'm not seeing any real sense of urgency coming from any of those around me as I go about by daily travels. Everybody seems to be so self-absorbed in their own little World and completely unaware of what it is that our leaders are so desperately trying to foist upon us. It would seem that they are now to the point of being completely oblivious to what it is that may be looming just over the horizon. I would venture to guess that not one could provide me with the name of the current Supreme Court nominee that will deal a very severe blow to the Constitution when she is in all likelihood, confirmed. They're much too busy living for today to worry all that much about anything that may be waiting for us out there tomorrow. I mean really, what the Hell, why worry about the future anyway, we can't change it. Right? WRONG! That's pretty much the same attitude that got us into our present predicament. The time for changing the future is now, today, before it becomes the future, because once the future becomes the present, then it becomes all the more difficult, if not totally impossible, to change in any meaningful way. So in reality now would be the ideal time for us to attempt to alter what the future is to be, because it is not yet cast in stone. And it really isn't all that difficult to see what lies ahead if we continue on the path that we presently are on. An fairly accurate picture of what our future may look like can be created by simply comparing what our country was like back in the 50's or 60's and then fast-forwarding to see what is has become today. Now don’t get me wrong, there have been some positive things that have occurred over that time, most notably in the area of race relations, thanks to the Republicans, but for the most part, the changes that have taken place have been very detrimental to our being able to maintain any degree of survivability as the freest nation on the planet. It would seem that we have looked the other way in the allowing of certain changes to be forced upon us, changes that have accomplished nothing more than to undermine the critical underpinnings of our society all under the guise of making America a better place by preaching to us all varying degrees of pabulum about the benefits of diversity, inclusiveness, tolerance and compassion. Over time, groups such as the ACLU and their ilk, have taken it upon themselves to energetically supplant the will of the people through an orchestrated and very well executed, tactical plan of attack by way of using the federal court system. A method that has proved to be very effective for them courtesy of some very activist, and Democrat appointed federal judges. A voluminous number of frivolous law suits have been brought about for no other reason than to weaken the foundations of our country, which instead of being tossed out, were allowed to proceed at great detriment to our country. And even on the off chance that they failed, there was always some damage that was done. And in the end all that was really accomplished was the successfully cheapening of the concept of what it means to be an American, which I think it fair to say, was the objective all along. We were conned, and we continue to be conned, with our good nature and our sense of fair play, being seriously taken advantage of by those with ulterior, and somewhat sinister, motives. None of us wish to appear as standing in the way of progress, even if we, ourselves, may not view it as such. We find ourselves agreeing with those in positions of authority thinking that they must see something that we don't, and if it is said to be what's best for our society, than far be it from us to stand in the way. Well my friends, the time has arrived for us to begin standing firmly in the way! If we're going to be able to stop the wholesale destruction of our country that is currently underway, extreme measures are going to need to be taken, and soon.
But are there now enough of us left willing to do so? I know what the polls say about the approval rating of Congress and of Barry, as well as what the polls are predicting regarding the coming election. But the question that remains is will that sentiment actually translate into votes? That's the great uncertainty we're facing at the present time. Because as we all know, the only poll that counts is that one conducted on Election Day. And between now and that time, we must muster our forces as best we can and form an army of resistance and to add to our numbers through the convincing of others that the time is now right to work toward changing the future. Because if we fail to act now, it may become too late to rectify the situation once the future has arrived. People need to be convinced that those presently in power do not have our best interests at heart. What they remain focused on is their marching of our country further and further leftward, which can have only one result, the succeeding in further reducing the freedoms and liberties that used to be so much more prevalent here in what was at one time the bastion of freedom. Those very same freedoms and liberties that now, for the most part, are taken for granted by so many. But the crux of matter regarding what we are now being faced with is that so many people seemed to have resigned themselves to the fact that "We the people" no longer have the capability to move things back toward where it is that a majority of populace actually reside. Also, a substantial portion of our voting population, primarily made up of those in the various minority communities, have become far too comfortable in they're receiving of taxpayer funded "entitlement" benefits that seem to be never-ending. It should be obvious to all that it is very unlikely that any of those who receive these "entitlements" would ever be willing to vote for those who would wish to put an end to them. So with a large segment of our population has already been taken out of the equation for change, which leaves us with just that many fewer people to work with in our effort to keep things from deteriorating any further. So it becomes all the more important to convince those that we have left and are the most apt to actually listen regarding the importance of the task at hand. And it will be an uphill battle for sure, because we are working from a place where we have a distinct disadvantage. And what is very obviously missing here is a sense of any degree of genuine outrage seen as coming from a significant number of the American people. Granted, we those who make up the Tea Party movement, but comparatively speaking, it's not a large enough number.
The Democrat Party has many powerful allies who are ready, willing and eager to assist them in any way possible in the successful advancement of their cause. Those that can be counted on as being among those allies are the State Run media, Hollywood, and many, many rich individuals who are more than willing to part with large sums of their personal wealth if work will be done to accomplish their specific objectives regarding the dismantling of our country. Numerous Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) disguised as "think tanks" and all with very non-descript and harmless sounding names have been fronted will millions of dollars by men with motives that run completely counter to all that America has come to stand for. The NGOs have set to work in all manner possible to slowly, and sometimes not so slowly, to eat away at the critical institutions that have made this country great. Add to them the fact that Democrats now possess a very firm grip on the media conglomerate in the country, as well as those who willingly make movies with specific themes, and the result is that we now have propaganda that is constantly coming at us and from pretty much every direction. No longer are there many movies made for pure entertainment purposes, now more often then not, there must always be some political message, sometime subliminal and sometimes not, that runs throughout the movie that more often than not ends up ruining the entire experience. No longer can we just go out to a movie to be entertained, now we must leave having "learned" something from it. It's just one more reason that what used to be pretty frequent trips to the theater has now become something vey rarely done, having been severely reduced for another reason as well, that being the exorbitant cost. And of course it goes without saying that the Democrat Party essentially owns, lock, stock and barrel, the written and broadcast news media outlets presently available here at home. And with that being the case there are very few opportunities to glean any usable information from anything watched on television or by reading anything available for pick up at your local newsstand. A reliable, unbiased source of information simply no longer exists. I suppose the closest thing out there that can even be remotely referred to as being unbiased is Fox News. But then even at that, other than Beck or maybe Hannity, there aren't many that I care to even watch there either. There is nothing which Greta, Shepard and especially Chris Wallace and, of course, "Jerry Rivers", aka Geraldo, would have to say about any topic that I would view as being usable information. Therefore, I just don't watch it because there's just nothing of value to be gained from doing so. So I'm left with a few websites as being my only sources of what I classify as being useful information. But how many of my fellow citizens are willing to go to the lengths that I go to in search of the truth and how many are content to simply listen to the likes of Mr. "Tingly" Chris Matthews or that other imbecile, and ESPN reject, Keith Olbermann both on PMS/NBC. Granted the combined viewership of both of the shows that these guys host is securely located in the basement, but that anyone watches either one of them at all, is quite amazing in itself
So, I know I may have strayed a bit from my main point, and I didn't mean to ramble. The only point that I'm trying to make here is that if the American people are really serious about undertaking a rescue mission designed to wrestle control away from those who are so determined to drive us over the cliff, then there is a certain reevaluating of priorities that's going to be required. If they're not willing to do so, then they cannot claim to be serious about trying to stop the present madness that we are now being exposed to. No one says that it's going to be easy, but anything worthwhile very rarely is. But it's something that's going to need to get done. Now of course if you are one of those who are content to sit back and enjoy our present track, then I will not expect much from you in this fight. But, should you choose to attempt to prevent me from doing what I see as being the saving of my country, that would be an attempt on your part to infringe upon my rights, and that is something that will not be tolerated. Sides are going to need to be taken, lines are going to need to drawn and arguments will need to be drafted in preparation of the coming battle for control of our country. A very limited number of opportunities remain, none of which can we afford to waste. And there is little doubt that we'll be required to get our hands dirty, because the Democrats can never fight fair. So we must be ready for anything that they can throw at us because the victory will go to those who are best prepared and who want it the most. BE READY MY FRIENDS, THE TIME IS AT HAND!
