THE IMPORTANCE OF STANDING WITH ISRAEL

The United States has been staunch ally and defender as well as a friend of Israel since it declared its independence back on May 14, 1948. But might that long relationship be coming to an end, and all because of an American president who seems willing to cast the Jewish state aside in his endeavor to gain favor with the Muslim countries in the region. When considering what the goals might be of the Barry administration's current Middle East policy that’s now being employed, one can only look on and say, WTF, over. You have to wonder, just whose side of this ongoing Middle East conflict does America now find itself? On one side we have the ONLY democracy in the entire region and yet, we now seem to be going out of way to take the side of dictatorial nations which are run with an iron hand by religious zealots. It’s these very same dictatorial theocracies who wish to see that lone Middle Eastern democracy, as well as all others, completely destroyed and replaced with governance by religious zealots. This man, our president, has gone so far to give $900 million to the blatant terrorist group, Hamas, who is now in charge of Gaza. And just how many visits has our “Supreme Leader” made to Arab countries with not one, not one, being made to Israel? While Barry “Almighty” is more than willing prostrate himself before the King of Saudi Arabia in a unbelievable act that should have embarrassed every single American, he finds it as being completely acceptable behavior to snub the Prime Minister of Israel, and friend of the United States, Benjamin Netanyahu. This was nothing short of a blatant example of Barry’s being an unseemly and unprincipled individual. Such actions accomplish nothing but to stir doubt in the minds of many of those who hate Israel, causing them to doubt just where it is that American allegiance may now lie and possibly encouraging them to take more aggressive action against Israel than they normally would have. It is a guarantee that these countries will be much bolder in their action against Israel if the feel they nothing to fear from America. So does Barry intend to now desert the Jewish state after years of friendship and to now side with the terror supporting Muslim countries that completely surround it? You decide. And here’s little something to help in that decision from 1977 that comes in the form of a statement by Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein. Here's what he said: "The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct "Palestinian people" to oppose Zionism.” Get the picture yet?
So with the saga in the Middle East continuing to swirl around Israel’s right to exist, there remains a rather puzzling dilemma that, try as I might, I just can't seem to figure out. What has me in a bit of a quandary and more than just a little confused is this. Of all the people in this world whom you would think would be strongly supportive of Israel, and of its efforts, as well as its right as a sovereign nation, to defend itself, wouldn't you think that one of the most vocal groups would be the Jews living here in America? And yet, that may NOT quite be the case here. The reason I say this is I fail to understand the reasoning on which so many in the Jewish community base their rather questionable and very dubious decision to continually vote for those candidates who have a home in a political party steeped in anti-Israel sentiment. The candidates that these people consistently vote for have shown themselves to be unabashedly PRO Palestinian in their sentiment and not the least bit hesitant to tell you so. It is a sentiment held by such anti-Israel proponents as Barry "Almighty" himself, and by a majority of Democrat politicians as well as 90 percent of those who make up the state controlled news media as personified, most recently, by that crusty old hag, Helen Thomas. Ms. Thomas, by the way, voicing the general consensus of the media as a whole, thinks that the Jews could simply solve the entire problem by relocating back to Poland and Germany! Using Barry as the classic example of today’s Democrat, and viewing the evidence available from the last 18 months we’re able to get a real sense of the hatred that he has toward the state of Israel. And if we're being honest, this is a perception held long before Barry came to hold his current elected office. But since assuming the reins of power, and with the assistance of his anti-Israel compatriot, Hitlery Clinton, his administration has quickly gone about the repeated throwing of Israel under the proverbial bus and then, very quickly, backing over it a few times, just for good measure. The contempt with which Barry treats the people of Israel, and their democratically elected leader, was put on display after the recent incident involving terrorists running an Israeli established blockade. Here we have an action of self-defense and we have our piece of dog squeeze president sending his condolences to the instigator of the entire fiasco, the Turkish Prime Minister. The rationale behind the motivation for such an action totally escapes me. So I come back to my original question, how does such a man earn the votes of a majority of Jewish voters in this country? And I have a question for those Jewish voters who supported Barry, and it is this, "Are you still pleased you voted as you did, and do you support the president's actions regarding Israel?" I don't believe there has been an administration quite so anti Israel since Jimmy Carter’s, although the most frequent foreign visitor to the "BJ" Clinton White House was the murderer, and thug, Yasser Arafat, so I suppose you could surmise that as being somewhat hostile behavior toward Israel. I just don't understand the fascination that the Jews in this country have with supporting Democrats who are so outwardly hostile toward Israel. I just don’t get it!
And don't you just love the old double standard that is always thrown in the face of Israel, which has as its basic principle, the accusing of Israel as being the hostile player in this continuing battle for its survival. And it is applied in every single instance where Israel is forced into any position where it is called upon to defend itself against any of the many lunatic countries which, except for the side against the Mediterranean Sea, have it completely surrounded? And never mind that these countries which are hostile toward Israel are several layers thick. I cannot imagine being in such a precarious situation and having my very survival placed in doubt and being put to the challenge on a daily basis, 24/7. Can anyone in this country possibly imagine what it would be like to live under the same conditions as do those who live in Israel? How dare anyone living in this country take it upon himself or herself to criticize their efforts at self-defense and any of the actions they may be forced take against those who wish to wipe them off the map. The amount of hypocritical crap that continues to emanate from the present administration is surpassed only by its eagerness to buddy up with goons like Chavez and any number of leaders who represent terrorist producing countries from anywhere on the planet. What we have is a president that, for example, seems to be much more concerned with the zoning restrictions in Jerusalem than, say, with Iran's rapidly progressing nuclear capabilities. Israel is our canary in the coal mine, and should we ever look into the cage and see a lifeless body, it will be a very clear indication that our own demise will not be much farther behind and will only be a matter of time. If Israel does come to an untimely and potentially bloody demise as a result of being hung out to dry by the United States, while the blood will be on the hands of politicians like Barry. But, those Jewish people who have voted these people into office will need to accept some of the responsibility as well. And I guess those who voted for Barry were under the mistaken impression that his idea of “Hope and Change” was worth the risk. So, was it?
And lastly, just a comment on that esteemed and respectable organization, that pillar of freedom, peace and democracy, the United Nations. This is a venerable institution of which, "you will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy." This little fraternity of dictators, despots and outright hoodlums disguised as diplomats, has strayed so far from the original intent of its charter as to now make it nothing short a joke and completely irrelevant in the solving of any actual world crisis. It has now gotten to the point where it is completely undeserving of even being listened to, and except for the elitists of the world hoping for a one World government, that’s pretty much the case. The time has finally come for the us, here in America, to demand that this pathetic cadre of losers relocate to a more fitting locale, say, Cuba, Iran or maybe even Venezuela to name just a few ideal locations. The amount of money, $440 million annually, that we continue to furnish to this organization under the guise of "dues" is ridiculous. And it all just needs to stop, because it's nothing more than throwing far too much money that we no longer have, down a very deep hole and receiving absolutely nothing in return for our investment. It just quite simply no longer serves any useful purpose or function. It has degraded into what has become nothing short of the equivalent of an insane asylum, where the lunatics have now taken over and are now in charge, and serves as nothing more than a prime diplomatic post for political cronies. Instead of coming up with an exit strategy for Iraq or Afghanistan, I say what we really need is an exit strategy for leaving the U.N. and then giving it a deadline by which it needs to find a new home outside of the United States. It has outlived what limited usefulness it may have once had. It might have served some purpose during the Cold War, but there is simply no longer any excuse to keep it going.
